Project Overview
The Sr. Marie MADeleine Gym (SMMG), located on the high school grounds of STCQC, was built in 1994. It has long served as the central covered high school venue for countless Theresian activities—from student programs and mass celebrations to milestone events and community gatherings.
Beyond school functions, the SMMG has also been used for events of the Family Council and the STCQCAA. It is also a source of rental revenue for the school.
For three decades, the SMMG has been in the backdrop of Theresian life. By addng improvements and elevating the spaces where our students learn and our Theresian community gathers, we ensure that STC remains to be a place of joy, safety, comfort, and shared memories for generations to come.
Objective

Restroom Facilities
To enhance the facilities and align with the current national and local building standards, gender-specific and accessible restroom facilities will be constructed at the SMMG.
Ventilation
The installation of two (2) 24-footer High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans will improve air circulation and enhance comfort during events, mass celebrations, and athletic activities.
Garden Landscaping
Enhancing the garden spaces surrounding the SMMG will provide a more uplifting and safer environment for students and guests alike.
