Marily is founder and president of Studio 5 Designs, an award-winning graphic design agency and coffee table book publisher. She has won top awards in major international competitions for her books on history art and culture, putting the Philippines in the map as a rich source of creative talent and skill. Her company is the only Filipino agency that has won the prectigiouus Graphis Platinum Award for international design. Locally, deveral of her books have won National Book Awards for Desig, History, Art and Biography. She recently received an Anvil Hall of Fame for her work in book publishing.
Marily's company “resurrected” the lost art of fore-edge painting, and is the only one in Asia capable of this 300-year old book art. Marily is a creative non-fiction writer and editor; her stories are part of several anthologies. Among her personal recognitions include a 2018 Top 100 Influential Filipino Women (Thought Leader and Innovator), and a Teresa Achievement Award for Graphic Design and Publishing.
